Welcome to Charlotte Carrington Candles – a luxury candle company and candle studio born in the spa town of Harrogate, where a love of storytelling, atmosphere and craft come together.
As an opera singer, I’ve been drawn to the way a single note can set a scene and stir emotion. Scent has that same power – to evoke memory, create mood and quietly transform a space. That realisation became the spark behind the brand.
Each candle is hand-poured in small batches using thoughtfully chosen fragrance blends, creating scented candles designed to bring calm, warmth and understated luxury into your home. As a British candle brand inspired by music, atmosphere and craftsmanship, every collection is created to feel personal, immersive and unique.

Charlotte Carrington Candles combine fragrance, music and atmosphere to create a more immersive experience than a traditional scented candle. Inspired by opera and storytelling, each candle is hand-poured in small batches and paired with specially selected music designed to reflect the mood and character of the scent.
Are your candles made in the UK?
Yes – all Charlotte Carrington Candles are hand-poured in small batches in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. As a British candle brand, we focus on quality craftsmanship, premium fragrance oils and thoughtful presentation throughout the process.
Are your candles safe?
Yes. All Charlotte Carrington Candles are made and labelled in line with UK safety standards. As a luxury candle company based in the UK, each candle is thoroughly tested, clearly labelled and supplied with full burning instructions to ensure safe and enjoyable use when followed correctly.
How long does a candle burn for?
Each candle has an approximate burn time of 35 hours when cared for correctly. For the best performance and longevity, we recommend burning your candle for no longer than 4 hours at a time and trimming the wick before each use.
How are your candles made?
Our candles are hand-poured in small batches in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. As independent scented candle makers, we use a wax blend of rapeseed and coconut combined with premium fragrance oils to create luxury candles with consistency and attention to detail at every stage of the process.
Are your fragrance oils vegan/cruelty free?
Yes – all fragrance oils used in Charlotte Carrington Candles are vegan friendly and cruelty free. We select ingredients that align with the quality, care and craftsmanship behind the brand.
Are your candles suitable as gifts?
Yes – Charlotte Carrington Candles are designed to make thoughtful gifts for birthdays, housewarmings, special occasions or simply as a luxurious treat for someone special. Each candle is beautifully presented to create a memorable unboxing experience.
Will you launch any other scents?
Yes – new scents and candle collections are introduced thoughtfully and in keeping with the brand. If you’d like to be the first to hear about future launches, we recommend joining our mailing list or following us on social media.
How long will they take to deliver?
Orders are typically dispatched within 2-4 working days. Delivery times may vary slightly during busy periods, but we always aim to send your candles as promptly as possible. You’ll receive confirmation as soon as your order is on its way.
What happens if my candle was damaged in transit?
We take great care when packaging our candles, but if your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with photographs of the item and packaging. We’ll always do our best to resolve the issue quickly, fairly and with care.
What is your return policy?
If you change your mind, you may return unused and unopened candles within 14 days of delivery, in line with UK consumer regulations. For hygiene and safety reasons, we’re unable to accept returns on used candles. Full details can be found in our Terms and Conditions.
